Is it really necessary to have pre-wedding videos to play at your wedding? Mom just asked me earlier if I want to make video collages of my childhood pictures. I think even if I want to play video on my wedding, it wouldn't involve any of my childhood photos. Not that I'm ashamed or anything, well that too, but I think it is just too common to use the metamorphosis theme as your wedding video.
My friend who just got married last week uploaded her pre-wedding video on facebook. It's very touching to see her journey to finally found her loved ones wrapped into a beautiful clip like that. You can feel the connection between both newlywed in the video. How happy they are and how they really love each other. That is the type of video I wanting to have for my own.
Few months ago, weeks after the engagement, I was meaning to make a stop motion pre-wedding video. But then I thought I wont be playing any videos during my wedding reception until mom asked. And now, I really think I need to make one. But to spend a lot of money to make the video, I really don't have the budget for that. Believe me, it is quite expensive to make that kind of video. Maybe I could just use my iPhone to make the video and ask a dear friend to shoot it for us. Or go for the last option, make a metamorphosis videos of me and the fiance by my own. We'll see.
ps: I was going to upload some great pre-wedding videos here. But the internet connection is really sucks. But I will upload it later.

One Fine Day
I finally did my pre-wedding photo shoot yesterday. Haven't got the result yet, but based on what captured on my camera phone and instax, I'm loving what we did so far. Hopefully Mas Andri, the photographer from Imotio will make it better with a little touch of photoshop here and there.
The fiance and I really enjoyed working with Mas Andri and his wife, Mbak Pina. Right a week before the photoshoot, we set up a meeting to talk about the concept of the photoshoot. They really listened to what I have in mind and make it happened to the whole photoshoot. My fiance is quite hard when it comes to photo shoot. He hardly smile and got nervous every time he's in front of the camera. What he needs is a communicative photographer. And that's what Mas Andri served us with. He directs us perfectly and voila, the fiance got relax and looks (a bit) natural when being photographed. Well, at least he looks much better than in the pictures of our engagement.
Mbak Pina, the wife of Mas Andri is the marketing of Imotio. She also the one who prepared the props and make up artist for the photo shoot. She also brought a hijab stylist which I very much loved. I'm not so much into styling my own hijab on my every day life. So it's quite relieving to have a hijab stylist for the photo shoot.
A day before the photo shoot, I went out and wandering from all around Senayan City to Plaza Senayan to find the right bouquet and other props to support the photo shoot. But then I found this beautiful artificial flowers at Foodhall. The price is just as the same as the real flower. But this bouquet will lasts forever in case I'm gonna have another photo shoot or whatever occasions that requires me to held a bouquet. The color is perfect. Just like what I always wanted. Though, I don't exactly know what kind of flower it is, but I love it still. As for the costumes to wear, I grabbed whatever I found in the closet and mix and match it. For the fiance, we did bought some new clothes that goes along with mine.
Overall, working with Imotio is fun and enjoyable. I gave 4,5 stars to both Mas Andri and Mbak Pina. Another half will come up later once I receive the final results :D
Here's some sneak peek from the photo shoot. These brought us to satisfactions. And we hope the final results will do too!
